Madden 23 us doing voting for their team of the year promo. 3 Jets are in the running - Sauce, Quinnen and get this Braden Mann! Only 2 punters to choose from and 1 of them his Mann.
So PC, PS5, and the new Xbox are all cross platform. I didn't buy PS5 yet or the new xbox. I should have just bought it for my PC but I bought it for PS4 and I think the playbooks on the new gens are different than the old gens. Can anyone confirm? On PS4, I'm looking through the Jets playbook and I don't see any shotgun bunch TE, tight offset TE, tight doubles, bunch str offset. I
Yeah. Just all the people online are raving about how good the Jets playbook is but I got madden on ps4 and it has none of what the youtubers and streamers are talking about. I'm curious if it's b/c I'm on old gen rather than new gen
Won the Superbowl year 1 in my franchise. Rodgers goes on to retire. I am now stuck with some rookie who has 94 speed as my QB. Lovely
I only bought it b/c my Madden 2022 couldn't get updated rosters for this years game. You can normally go every other year without buying it for updated rosters since you can DL the rosters up to a year out so last year I had the 23 rosters on my 22 game which was great. But yeah, it's basically the same game The one thing that is extremely annoying is that the new gen consoles are updated playbooks, new formations, + a few new things that the old gens don't have. I bought it for PS4, I just should have bought it for my PC.
This is weird. I'm not used to the Jets players on Madden actually looking like the human beings they are based on.
I just lit New England up with a 96 yard TD pass to Mecole Hardman and I'm pretty sure they did the Ayahuasca ceremony celebration with Rodgers.
Modding community has made Madden 100x - for franchise improved AI, draft classes, etc - hoping they continue to build on it Garrett Wilson is a beast in the game
Everyone I know bitches about Madden every year. I haven’t gotten it in 3-4 years. Just got it to play online and I’ll always enjoy it regardless of the lackluster improvements.
I usually will get it a season or 2 and play the hell out of it and then ignore it for another few years before playing again. It's a complex game even if they could have improved it a million times by now. I have fun with it too, but usually the Jets suck and half the roster is garbage by week 6 so I do sim seasons and play in the future and try to find the perfect fullback. Then I play some fake fantasy team stuff and then get bored and sayonara for 3 years. I'm at that last sentence right now.
I actually don’t touch any offline mode. I only play online. It keeps it fresh. But everything you said is true. I’ll probably get it again next year play it for two weeks and take a 3 year break. Ultimate team is fun too but they saturated all of the ultimate team in every sports game by adding all the fucking themed players and legends and what not. You can’t play anyone in MUT online unless you spend money and get the 99 Barry Sanders types.
5 iterations later, at mobile version, I found a pleasant surprise. Now I'm playing Madden 25 mobile, and actually having fun. And no money spent. It's not necessary. I have Joe Burrow as my QB, with Davante Adams as my go-to WR. (Aaron Rodgers is not available in MUT, but then fuck him.) My defense features LT and Sean Taylor of the old days. They also made the game play quite pleasant - even with low-rated teams you can still win. (or I did at least.)
