The people clamoring that Jones is the next Eli or Brady are the same people who told Jets fans to relax after the Detroit game from Darnold.

Jeez i never remember him looking that good. but yeah giants knew what they were doing with jones and all the hate. line him up with the 1st team O against the jets 2nd team with no gameplan and no pressure to make him look good. I thought it was funny when i seen tate (giants WR1) owning nickerson (jets CB4-5)
We'll see how Jones does as the schedule moves forward. He does not have the skill set Darnold has. I think the QB pendulum has finally swung in the Jets favor.

Giants fans should look at Nate Peterman. The guy looked like Tom Brady in preseason then thru 5 int's in his first regular season game. Jones may turn out to be a good QB but preseason doesn't mean shit.
If jones was in last years draft, he would have been a 2nd rounder. he's not even remotely close to the talent level of darnold. any QB even hackenburg could sit back with no pressure and pick on CBs who won't be on an NFL roster in a few weeks. hte NY media will be picking him apart when he finally gets to play and disappoints
