I've been trying to figure it out but can't. In this Today's Team is not Tomorrow's Team league I don't know why anyone would bet on Vick or that O-Line.

I mean really, he said that he wants a team that has a chance of winning. So perhaps if someone could lay out some specific reasons for how - on the whole- the Philadelphia Eagles are superior to the New York Jets, please let me know.

because they were able to sign Aso and sign additional players that make the team better without losing any players of significance.

for the Jets to sign Aso would have required them to lose players that contributed significantly to the Jets success last year, so on paper even with Aso the Jets would have taken a step backwards talent wise while the Eagles are improving by signing him.

this isn't fucking hard to grasp, so stop being a whiny, insecure dipshit and actually understand what's taking place rather than starting dumb fuck threads about every thought you have that can be discussed in other relevant threads.

And for the record, I would put my money on the Jets against the Eagles -as of right now - any day of the week.

The Eagles don't have the Patriots in their division lol. Jetblue pretty much nailed it. Eagles have an easier division and they were able to add to a team that was really good last year. It isn't like they were blown out in the playoffs last year by Green Bay. They improved in the places they needed to improve, and in the meanwhile, the Jets are losing players that got them to the AFC championship.

The Eagles D might not come together as quick as everyone thinks . They hired their Offensive line coach as the new D cooridinator . The dude played LB in college but never coached it . With the lockout and things moving so quickly it may take some time for this D unit to just come together. Not arguing the talent cause of corse its there , but it may take some time .

They also managed to hire Washburn on the line, which is a huge coaching improvement.

I think for Nnamdi, it probably just came down to Vick vs. Sanchez. I doubt he really did a thorough roster or cap room analysis in deciding between them.

He saw Vick had a huge year, while Sanchez still struggled on a statistical level. Vick threw for more touchdowns, and had half the interceptions, plus all the damage he did with his legs. That's it probably.

Philly will find a way to lose again. I don't have fears or worry about'em. Bring back Cro and we will back in contenders mix

Yea because the D is the question mark . I don't see how anyone thinks they don't have a good offense.

Who cares, they aren't even in the jets way to get through the afc. If they are good enough to win a superbowl the jets will see them in feburary.

This.........plus it is the main reason why on paper it's difficult to argue the Jets are better. Obviously this is a big year for Sanchez, to prove "on paper" is just that.

I would still be leery about putting my money on Vick. I think he is a significant injury waiting to happen. (not wishing it just the way he plays)
