Brian Robison is not so much a sleeper, it's hard to be a sleeper when you play at Texas, but when you play at FIU, now that's a small school sleeper With that, meet Antwan Barnes, Florida International College DE who projects best to 34OLB in the Pros 6' 1"/240 and he worked out with the linebackers {word has it he was very impressive in LB drills} Ran a 4.43 at the combines {#2 amongst all linebackers} Did 31 Bench Press Reps {#1 for all linebackers} VERY STRONG and SUPER FAST for his size Ranked very high in another drill that escapes me at the moment? As for production, 17 Sacks and 38 TFL's as a Juinor and Senior Robison is iffy with that late 3, he'll probably be off the board, but THIS KID can be had with that late 3
Two Reasons Why He Won't: 1) Measurables do not constitute the inmeasurables of what you can do on the field and whether you make plays. 2) He did not play against huge competition.
He doesn't have the size to be a true 3-4 OLB, his frame is pretty much maxed out right now where he's at. He's a tweener, but not in the way 3-4 teams need, probably locked in as a 4-3 weakside linebacker unless he shows some coverage ability.
