I was curious if there were any "sleeper" WRs in this year's draft. I realize that WR def does not have a deep talent pool this year, but are there any players that are being overlooked and could be all pro talent to be had in later rounds? Maybe Avant? I don't know very many receivers projected to be taken in mid rounds that could eventually have an impact in the league.
Hi everyone. My first post here. I think Mike Hass will be a solid receiver as well as Stovall. Nance (mentioned above) is also a sleeper.
how about your boy from Penn St. -- Michael Robinson in R4 (or late R3). We all know he won't make it as QB in the NFL; maybe he'll be the next Randel El. cheers
those are borderline first rounders, and the winner of the Belitnicof (spelled totally wrong) award. Thats like calling Reggie Bush a sleeper.
did Brad Smith declare for the draft? If so would he convert to WR? He could be a randall el type too
I think his name is Miles Austin from Monmouth U. Kid is 6'3 215 and ran a 4.43 40. Heard an interview with him and he has a good head on his shoulders. He would be worth a shot in the 6th or 7th rd.
Marques Colston from Hofstra has size (6-4, 230), has 4.5- speed, and was ultra productive. It seems likely the FO should look at him since he's a local product and is from the same school as Wayne Chrebet.
I liked Colquist untill the Combine. He dropped to many passes but I haven't completely given up on him.
