ESPN falling apart. They have been slashing staff big time. They got rid of Bill Barnwell's Grantland which was pretty popular. CowTurd left last year. Tirico left yesterday. Now this d-bag. Hopefully Stephanie A. Smith leaves soon.

maybe ESPN will finally get the hint that their customers want something better than the trash they've been producing in recent years. Probably not, but its worth a hope.

Heard about Tirico, that is a bigger blow. Honestly they are going to start losing alot to NBC, summer is the olympics and once the major leagues catch on. Watch out.

Not to mention, the amount of garbage these analysts talk about NFL, NBA, MLB, and they dont even cover the NHL...Barry Melrose is their only guy. It's time they lose guys.

You can't take his opinion seriously. He's such a shock jock but this actually kind of makes me sad. I like first take just for the laughs. For his sake I hope his stay with Fox Sports goes better than Francesa.

With all the actual league networks that there are , its amazing that ESPN still has viewers. If they didnt have Sunday night football and baseball I'd never watch that station.

They even tried to go the "hot chick" route and failed at that.

ESPN has been yesterday's news since about 1994. They were the baseball network if you were a huge fan/rotisserie player/etc. Then baseball jumped the shark with the dead end season and the steroid crap. Since then ESPN has basically been Mel Kiper's hair and some Boomer nostalgia.

I equate sportcenter to snl. Every now and then i turn it on and wonder if i outgrew it or it just sucks now.
