Simple top 10 mock draft

    I did one for the first round a few weeks ago, but I give up on that now.


    here's just the top 10 (no trades):

    1. Oakland Raiders - Jamarcus Russell - QB - LSU
    2. Detroit Lions - Calvin Johnson - WR - Georgia Tech
    3. Cleveland Browns - Brady Quinn - QB - Notre Dame
    4. Tampa- Gaines Adams DE Clemson
    5. Cardinals - Joe Thomas OT Penn State
    6. Redskins - Jamaal Anderson DE Arkansas
    7. Vikings - Laron Landry, S, LSU
    8. Falcons - Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
    9. Dolphins - Levi Brown OT Penn State
    10. Texans - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma

    Pretty solid. Except that I am certain down to my bones that the Raiders will pass on Russell and pick CJ. It's strange, because I think that's the right move for them, and I don't often count on the Raiders making the right move.

    I also have an educated hunch that Adrian falls well out of the top ten.

    for some reason, i have a hunch that the Raiders will select Quinn...

    the Raiders did what I thought they did:

    they made the dumb move. That's what I've come to expect from Oakland.
