I happen to respect Simms opinion greatly. In this clip, he makes Sanchez sound like he is the second coming of the Messiah... I swear he almost sheds a tear.

Hopefully this brings a few people in off of the ledge...

You should have seen my ORIGINAL title...

'on' seemed more tasteful than 'in'...

Yea, Ive been more of a fan of Sanchez as well. He just looks fast with his footwork. Hes got a very god arm, hes poised, and he is very accurate. The most important thing about Sanchez however is that he is very smart. I think we made the best move in the draft.

I am not big on NFL commentators. The only one's that I am big on are Jaws and Simms.

Nice find. Certainly excited about our future.

We gave up 3 mediocre players and a second round pick for a player that could be our much needed franchise quarterback for a decade. Two coaching regimes have come to the same conclusion...we do not have a starting caliber QB on our roster.

I rarely post on this board but I have been reading every post on it for years and I had to chime in because the FO saw a glaring need and addressed it for a minimal loss and still the negativity that has plagued this board for years will never change.

This is becoming to me (I'm sure to others to) like the Dustin Keller pick last year.

Didn't like it at first, now I love it.

Watched a bunch of youtube on Sanchez and a few things I picked up on. 1. Has VERY good footwork in and out of the pocket 2. Very quick release 3. Better athlete than I expected 4. Good arm but not great. Makes all the throws but did see the ball float some on deep outs.
Just some stuff I saw from the clips. Looks like this guy might be the real deal.
