This trailer dropped a week ago and obviously with a name like Sicario no one really gives a crap. Sicario in Mexico means "Hitman" This film stars some of my favorite actors. Fucking love Emily Blunt Anyways, cartels, mob, DEA, FBI, drama that has that real intense feel to it. Anyone remember that film Traffic? Denis Villeneuve directed it, the same guy who did Prisoners and Enemy which I loved and is doing the sequel to Blade Runner which to be honest is going to be amazing. Rarely I hype a drama film thats not like a mainstream one...But just check that trailer out and tell me you are not hyped. Couple of initial reviews are out and they are saying the performances are off the charts, especially Emily Blunt's. Producers are saying this film WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. The film got a 7 minute standing ovation at the Cannes. I have a feeling this one will be special. Releases September
Holy fuck. That looks outstanding. Kind of like a mix between No Country For Old Men and The Kingdom. Incredible cast. That's an opening night RPX view for me. _
I saw Black Mass and Sicario tonight...Back to back. Such amazing films. Now I remember why Benicio Del Toro is a fucking amazing actor. I am still shaking with shock a bit but to me... Sicario is the best film of the year so far. Dennis Villenue the director was so good...I am blown away. Not to be too outshined but Black Mass was excellent. A return to acting for Johnny Depp...both Benicio and Depp will get oscar noms for these films.

Trailer for the 2nd film is out. First Sicario was a masterpiece to me. This looks just as intense. Benicio ready to wreck havoc.
