Figured id bring up a topic to discuss since things have been so slow around here. im not gunna take sides as to if we should trade for him or not so ill just play both sides.
    Reasons for:
1)he may be determined to prove his worth now that hes been replaced by walker
2)has the skills to be dominant but hasnt put it together yet.
3)a change of scenery might help him become wat he was supposed to be.
    Reasons against:
1)he might juss be a soft player who will never amount to anything great.
    2)is not very reliable
    3)His first name is ashley

hell no, he is a big mouth cancer of a WR who isn't really that good. He is like Keyshawn but not nearly as good. Stay away.

Is he even on the trade block?

If he is and if the price is right I would take a look at him. I wouldnt want to give up anything more then a 3rd though.

    1) He's being a bitch about the Walker signing. Red flag - non-Mangini guy. When people cry about someone else coming in with skills it's usually because they are insecure about their own skills - this goes with any job.
    2) I don't see him ever being a #1 wideout and we already have a good group of average to above average wideouts.
    3) I don't think I could seriously root for a guy named Ashley.

somewhat off topic, i remember last year some guy on the Sports Illustrated website wrote an article about how Lelie statistically was the most dangerous WR in the NFL. It had something to do with this stat book some guy wrote analyzing every catch in the NFL, how many times throwns, yardage gained etc.

I guess he was dead wrong.

Actually it's true to a point. Every time he catches the ball its' a long gain, the only problem is that he sucks so bad, that he only catches passes when the defender falls down, leaving him wide open.

he can rot in a hold out in Denver, the guy is a glorified McCariens, never will be a number 1 and will at times be a questionable two

5th round pick at best. He has done nothing in the league and is not worth a pick in the 1st 4 rounds.

    Are you kidding me?

He's such a loudmouth it's not funny. He's been late to camp. I'd give up no more than a 5th or 6th rounder.

First of all he is bitching because he thought he was going to be the 1# reciever, by bringing walker in, the FO is saying that lelie is not a 1# that is why he is bitching... There is nothing wrong with saying your a capable number one...
Also the FO is saying that lelie either wont be with the team or will be pushed back to a 3 wideout, you tell me any wideout that was a 2, is happy getting pushed back to a 3?

Plummer wasn't comfortable with him for some reason is not lelie's fault maybe they don't like eachother, im not saying he will be great but he is good... In the right system with the right coach.

Im not saying we should get him either, but he would be a welcomed addition to the franchise, with ramsey and clemens both having strong arms and able to get him the ball would be sick... Coles=1, lelie=2, McCareins=3, cothery=4 that is sick... Although cotchery paid his dues and should be a 3, but lelie has speed and can spread the field, and that would equal coles having a huge season.

Lelie also can be backup in case justin does not become what we want.

It doesnt hurt to bring in another WR to compete it would push the WR we have to work harder and be better, try him out for the remainder of his contract.

HE CAN BE OUR UPGRADED VERSION OF JONATHAN CARTER. At worst.

You do not bring in someone asking that kind of money to just "compete"
