Shaun Alexander??? His agent is calling teams fishing. God I hope not, this guy is soft with a capital S and T.
yea he was pretty terrible the past two years... he could come back and have an alright season. that being said the jets def dont need this guy. so there is no reason to bother. Im hoping that bruiser from michigan state ends up working out.
How do you know? What if they can get him dirt cheap, can it hurt? He was an MVP 2 years ago, he has talent but he is too soft.
If he creates cap by playing with us - i.e. he's paying $5M per year - I'd say yes. Absolutely - I mean, i'll put him on roster, but he won't see any playing time. Just cap relief.
He was very good up untill his break out season he got payed alot of money and not only didnt he produce as much as he should of after the contract he could barely stay on the field. Either to soft or just doesent have the heart anymore (Big Contracts can do that i guess)
Or Alexander Hamilton. He was a New Yorker, after all. His dead rotting corpse could probably fill in for Shaun Alexander nicely.
I really hate to do this, but if Anthony Schlegel was deserving of a spell correction, Chazz Palminteri sure as hell is.
Jehuu Caulcrick. Probably has the best chance of making the team out of all our UDFAs as a short yardage/power back/lead blocker. Kind of like an Alstott type.
