We seem to specialize in wounded warriors don't we... Perhaps we pass on this one?? Our IL was pretty long already from last year.
From what I read, the Jets are trying to avoid anyone with significant injury history. You have too many on the team, players with injury history, then they are left wondering who is going to be available week to week. They had him in for a visit weeks ago and nothing came of it so I am guessing they are waiting for upcoming cuts.
Very true and certainly a legit concern, but take a look at our LB room and who is available right now...not a lot of depth/options. He played on a 1 yr 3 mil contract last year. That is a LOW risk signing even if he does get hurt...again lol
That's a pretty low bar we're setting here. Our LB's are so bad that we actually entertain an injury prone guy who has yet to play an entire season in 8 years? Rather take a flier on a UDFA. Odds are about the same for marginal success.
But again, look at the room they currently have. Nobody is suggesting we would be tickled pink over signing Kwon, but...do we really want to go the UDFA route considering who our current starters are? I get not loving Alexander, but I am not sure I agree the UDFA route is the best path. Just discussion. Thanks for the debate @Cman65!
Nobody is buying the “trickle down economics” LB theory that’s out there? Improved DL/DB play + second year in league/system will significantly improve our current cast of characters?
