I know I know, we already have 3 RB's. But LT is gone after next season and I think it would be great to have another young good running back. Im still not sold on Mcknight (it was the Bills) and the Ingram isn't predicted to get drafted until #15. Also Ingram is predicted to go to Dolfags, and giving Miami a good running game again could be trouble. Just a suggestion.

...so you want to trade ahead of Miami so they can't get him?

Why don't we just draft a couple defensive players so we can crush their running backs for the next decade?

PS: This is one of the dumbest threads I've ever seen.

No, this shit is fucking retarded.

This is the one forum that USUALLY doesn't fill up with stupid shit like this.

Did you actually think about this beforehand? I mean, are you fucking kidding?

Hey guys: I think we should trade up to the #2 overall pick and draft Cam Newton so the Bills can't get him.

Actually my main idea was that we need a running back of the future, not so that Miami couldn't get him. That was only an extra cause. It was just a suggestion, but it was my bad putting it in the Jets forums. Meant to put it in the Draft one.

Area you serious? Trading up for a RB that is not a need and not even a prime time RB? I think Ingram will be a solid NFL RB, but he's not a great back by any stretch of the imagination.

If Tanny trades up for him, he should be shot on the spot.

I disagree. I think he will be a prime time RB, but you have a point that this is not the time to be trading picks away when we need them for other positions.

I don't even understand how someone could fathom ignoring the needs on defense to grab a RB who isn't going to be a top 3 RB in this league.

I don't get what the fascination is with trading up for the guy you're in love with when this team has the luxury of sitting at 30 and waiting for the BPA. Shit, they have the luxury of trading down and picking up more picks to fill holes and get guys who can produce early in their careers.

Trading up for a RB is the dumbest thing you can do as the Jets. Just delete this thread.
