So I'm trying to steal LT from a guy who is 1-4 in my league (I am 4-1). I've offered Caddy Williams and Fred Jackson for LT + Roy Williams (who I would likely cut since I have 3 top 10 receivers). He countered with asking for Brandon Jacobs and Fred Jackson for LT and Roy Williams. Jacobs has not looked good this year and Jackson is loosing touches. Does that sound like a deal that I would win? LT would be my RB1 and my RB2 is a platoon of Jamal Lewis / Leon Washington / Reggie Bush.
Basically that's a Jacobs for LT deal, which I would not make. LT is 30-years-old on an obvious pass-happy team. Jacobs hasnt looked great yet, but he's on an elite team with a top-notch O-line. The Giants will use him extensively once the weather gets colder, pounding defenses like they have in the past. Jacobs, IMO, clearly has the upside advantage over LT.
