Should I Break Up With My Girlfriend? So I've been exclusive with my girlfriend for about a year and a half. We started dating early this year. She became a Jets fan and life was good. A few weeks ago, at my sister's wedding, my girlfriend dropped this bomb on me: "I think I want to be a Patriots fan". She claims it's because she loves the New England area (She started law school in RI last month). I think it's just from the pressure of being around all those NE fans. Now she goes and starts rooting for the Boston Bruins. She claims to she'll never be a Red Sox fan, but I have a feeling she'll jump on the bandwagon if the Sox make it to the ALCS. I just feel like I've been stabbed in the back. How can anyone love someone with these kind of loyalties?
Kick her to the curb.....No, in all seriousness, it depends on how serious you guys are. If you can't tolerate being around patriot fans and despise anything having to do with the patriots, it might not work out. If you think she is the one, and you love her, remember that there is more to life than the Jets and Patriots

Need more info before voting. We need pictures of her face, and full body shots from front, side, behind to understand what you are giving up. Bikini OK. Also, we need photos of her mother (face, full body shots from front, side, behind, fully clothed is preferable) to properly assess long term prospects.
You shouldn't dump your girlfriend because she became a Patriot fan. You should dump her before she dumps you. What's clear is your girlfriend has made a decision to upgrade the team she roots for. No doubt she will upgrade her boyfriend when the opportunity presents itself. If she's unbelievably hot you might want to stick it out for awhile, otherwise I think you should bail ASAP. It's going to be painful when she upgrades.
This is unacceptable! First of all, you can live in New England without being a Patriots fan so I don't know where she is going with this. You should start "borrowing" money from her and working on sleeping with her friends immediately.
If this isn't a joke thread and you're really wondering whether or not you should ditch your gf because she's a pats fan then your relationship probably really isn't that good in the first place.
