I am new to a league that ahs an 80 dollar buy in and they have no fractional points and want to draft on Aug. 24....or Aug 31 at the latest by the looks of it. On the 31st there will still be 1 preseason game left and with no fractional points, you can essentially lose a game if you have a bunch of guys at like 108 yards, 58 yards, 76 yards, 84 yards because you'd get 10, 5, 7, and 8 points for a total of 30 instead of 10.8, 5.8, 7.6 and 8.4 for a total of 32.6. You add up those fractions for an entire team and you could have quite a difference.
The no fractional points work both ways. Both teams loose points so it evens itself out. As for when the draft happends. as long as you can make it is should be no big deal. tHe stars only play a little in the final preseason game anyway.
i don't see the issue here. fractional points don't exist for anyone and your all drafting at the same time so in both cases the playing field is even.
