I was thinking of trading Calvin Johnson, Ryan Grant and Eddie Royal for Brandon Jacobs and Marques Colston and Ted Ginn Jr. What do you guys think?

That's such an even trade. Honestly RB's pop up all the time and Calvin will be a monster this year so I would not personally.

yeah that trade is horrible. your players are far better then the ones you would get. johnson is a beast and royals is going to have a great year with marshal having problems with the broncos

Yea i wouldn't.... Although Brandon Jacobs could be getting more carries, I just dont see him performing as well as he use to with no plax and only bradshaw with him splitting the carries. Royal is the broncos #1 receiver now even though his qbis orton so i give him a wash with ginn. And colston is coming off injury who knows what he will be

I agree that he should not do the trade.

As for Colston, he should be fine. He finished the season well.

He only caught one pass vs Green Bay, but it went for 70 yards and a touchdown. That was in Week 12.
Here are his stats for the final five games-
at TB: 6 catches, 106 yards
    ATL: 3 catches, 26 yards
at CHI: 6 catches, 84 yards, 1 TD
at DET: 9 catches, 99 yards, 2 TDs
    CAR: 7 catches, 123 yards, 1 TD

First off, Calvin Johnson is the best player in that trade and you never want to be giving up the best player in a trade.

But, let's look at the rest. Ryan Grant, Eddie Royal and Ted Ginn are worthless so you are essentially trading Calvin for Jacobs and Colston. I like that, especially if you need an RB.
