Now that the Jets season is over...Im thinking if i should get into Madden till next season. What are your thoughts on the Madden 2010 game? Is it worth getting now?
Wait 'till the end of the season. It will drop in price. Buy it new, because Online Franchise is $10 if you don't. The new Ultimate Team card game is awesome, and it's free. You've got like six months for Madden '11. I'd pickup '10 after the season. By the way, I work for EA. If you wanna play a game, let me know.
I got a PS3 for Xmas and had this same argument in my mind, I decided waiting for 11 would make the most sense, I picked up All-Pro 2k8 in the meantime. Not a bad game, I created Namath, Martin, and Chrebet my team is the shit.

the next time a Madden game is a very different game from any version of Madden the year before, the year before that or even the year before that will be the first time. you have to go back to the difference between Madden on the Genesis and Madden on the Playstation to get games that can even remotely be considered very different.
You very clearly haven't spent much time with either one or the other. There are several major differences in the gameplay. The modes are basically the same, but the on-field experience is quite different.
as devil said the difference between 09 and 10 is night and day. i couldn't stomach more than a half in 09 i have played the shit out of 10 even with a few big flaws. so either my taste in football video games went down a lot this past year or the game got a hell of a lot better.
