    huh? he was open and sanchez threw a duck, what about that screen pass just now was that schottys fault too?? that was a perfect call

    Totally agree. If Sanchez threw a decent pass on the first play that would have been an amazing call.

    with a rookie qb, you want to get him off to a good start for his confidence. you don't send him out cold to start the game with a pick.

    I hate the fact they had a bye and all they could come up with was a pick to start the game. They should have come up with a TD run.

    he was far from open. the coach needs to realize he has a rookie qb who's confidence is on the brink and to start the game in that way on the very first play is poor judgement on the part of schotty.

    totally different situtaions...both plays were called deep in a drive when the run was established...not on the very first play of the game with a rookie qb who makes strange decisions at times

    cotch had 2 steps on the corner and sanchez threw a floater. shit happens the play call was fine the execution failed.
