Sharper rejoins Saints

It was a pipe dream landing Sharper..would have been nice had he waited till July for us

Just hope these Final 8 rules are gone next year..they're complete BS and restricting

It wouldn't have mattered. The Saints could have shut every other F8P team by tendering him on June 1st.

Well that sucks. Rumor was he was going to see the Phins, so atleast hes in the NFC.

 

It really doesn't suck. The Saints had absolute power to keep him out of our hands. He had to realize he wouldn't make it past the June 1st deadline untendered and realized that the Saints were his only option to go to a F8P team. Like I've been saying all along, he wasn't coming here, but people continued to speculate. The Dolphins would have been a worst case scenario.

Well it was a pipe-dream but would have been great. Poole will do fine though so its not as bad as it could be.

 

Any chance now we could get Otogwe? I seem to remember hearing from someone that there was now some reason he likely wouldn't go back to St Louis. Did they sign a safety or something?

 

Looks like this was why many didnt sign him as quickly.

I guess Miami wasn't dishing out free vicoden like the Saints are.
