If so, just about every last doubt people could possibly have about the Wilson pick is erased: http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2010/04/something_to_ex.html
And if you're curious about NFL players that have had it: http://www.kffl.com/article.php/64665/74 It's also what has hampered Reggie Bush's career, and Marques Colston came back from it last year.
When I read up on Kindle I was worried about his injury problems his freshman and sophomore years if this is true I'm glad we didn't get him.

Kindle Appearing on ESPN 101 St. Louis Friday morning, Adam Schefter confirmed that Sergio Kindle fell out of round one due to medical concerns. "Definite medical issues," Schefter reported. "I've spoken to some teams that have him off their board (entirely)." The latest rumors have Kindle possibly needing microfracture knee surgery, which would knock him out for his entire rookie year. At this point, we'd be surprised if he's drafted in round two. Rotoworld
That's too bad. He looks like nice player. Some team that's deep enough to sit on him for a year may get a really good player for mid-round pick.
What a blow for him. This obviously explains why he is still on the board considering plenty had him going in the late teens - early to mid 20s. Adam might want to give his buddies over on ESPN SC a call because they are still clueless on this particular development when discussing who got passed up and why.
That sucks. I was wondering why he slid all the way out of the round. A few people were actually cheering for the Jets to draft him.
