I know proposing trades is unrealistic, but with the aggressive nature of the Tangini (and Bellichick's history of draft deals), I can't see them not making at least a trade or 2. Before I begin picks 1-3 are Bush, D'Brick and Young

Trade 1: Jets trade pick #4 to Packers for #5 and #67
I think Mario Williams is the player the Packers really covet. I know Mario is the top defensive player, but it is fair to question how he fits in a 3-4. To gain another pick will be very important (see later)

Trade 2: Jets trade pick #29 and #67 to the Chargers for #19
With Holmes and Chad Jackson off the board and the depth at DB, I think the Chargers would be more than happy to trade down. With the 3-4 Patriots at 21 and 49ers at 22, I think they need to trade up for a Manny Lawson or Bobby Carpenter

To sum it up its basically replacing 4 and 29 with 5 and 19

    Draft
    5. Vernon Davis TE
Controversial yes, but next to Bush the biggest playmaker on offense. I really think he's a game changer and they get an extra pick out of it.
    19. Manny Lawson DE/LB
A 3-4 OLB that IMO has scary potential, will need to trade up for him and I think its more than worth it.
    35. Nick Mangold C
The best center in the draft, OT is a bigger issue, but Teague also has a history at OT as well
    71. Ryan O'Callaghan OT
Could potentially start right away at RT.
    97. Babunte Oshinowo NT
    Future 3-4 NT?
    103. Kellen Clemens QB
Maybe wishful thinking, but only so many teams need a QB, for that reason I'd be really surprised if Clemens, Croyle and Omar Jacobs are all gone at that point.
    117. Julius Jenkins DE
Should be a good 3-4 DE.
    128. Brandon Marshall WR
    Big sleeper at the position
    211. Matt Bernstein FB
Pure blocking FB that isn't on the team right now.

That'd be a really good draft seeing as how it would solve nearly every problem. However, we know it's unrealistic and won't happen.

    I'd love it though.

    Eh, not too bad...

But Ryan O'Callaghan won't be able to come in and start. His pass blocking is not good at all. The only thing he is good at is mauling over guys in the run.

The Jets would have to do a hell of a job shopping their pick to get Green Bay to give a pick to move up a slot when they can just get Hawk at 5...

What a fantasy draft. A+but I don't think Clemens will be there that late.
