I was pushing for him to buy it a few years ago when he was looking to build an Amazon office complex in Astoria, he could also afford to build a stadium over the railyards in Sunnyside but in all this time I see speculation about him wanting an NFL team but nothing to tie him to the Jets. The area was not kind to his Astoria plans.

I think that's a good thing, maybe Woody being considered for a bigger role that would require him to sell the team. ...yes, I should be concerned about my country if Woody Johnson is taking a bigger role in it, but oh well, at least the Jets could get a new owner out of the deal!
