Ignoring rushing yards/TDs, the top of the order for QBs would go something like this: Brees Rodgers P. Mannning Brady Ryan Stafford Romo Luck The following QBs could arguably be taken before some of the above players when rushing yards and TDs are factored in. Of course, the more rushes a QB takes, the more likely they are to get hurt. Also, most of these guys have limited track records: Cam Newton RG III Kapernick Wilson Vick Since I have the first pick overall in a 2 QB league (start 1QB, flex could also be QB) and will be taking Adrian Peterson I will probably be choosing from the following QBs: Ryan (probably gone) Stafford (might be there) RG III (might be there) Romo (should be there) Kapernick (should be there) Wilson (should be there) Vick (should be there) My gut tells me to play it safe with guys like Ryan, Stafford, or even Romo. Someone make the case for rolling the dice with one of the younger guys.
I really could use help on this one. If I am left with Wilson vs Romo I am really not sure who to take.
There's no real right answer here. Usually in this situation, I tend to look at their playoff/championship schedule. Although it's tough to predict how certain NFL defenses will perform and there will always be surprises, if one playoff/championship schedule looks far more favorable, I'd choose that one. Weeks 14, 15, 16 Romo- at Bears, Home vs. Packers, At Washington Wilson- at 49ers, at Giants, Home vs. Cardinals
Still tough call. Go with your gut. In my opinion, I'd roll with Romo. Proven good stats over the years. Dez Bryant should have a monster year. Of course, I'd take Wilson if it was a keeper league..
Not even close, Russell Wilson all the way. He's actually the 2nd QB on my draft board, behind RG3. "what many are missing about Russell Wilson for FF 2013": http://www.fantasyfootballmetrics.com/Player_News/2013/Season_2013RussellWilson_08062013_1.htm
