Seems like the supplemental draft is a big joke!!!

    I think there is some rule about players from college just being free agents, because they think to many players would just drop out and sign with their favorite team or signing with the team that would give them the most.

    You probably have to be out of college for a certain amount of time. Thats why Drew Henson had to enter the draft instead of just being a straight up free agent when he came back to football.

    Yeah, it?s a joke, but the League has to hold it. Think about what happens if you don?t hold a supplementel draft, and let them hit FA. Great Players like Reggie Bush or Calvin Johnson could fail the College standards for purpose, so that they don?t have to go throu the draft and hit FA. Such high Quality players would probably get more Money in FA than by their Rookie Contracts.

    It wouldn?t take long till the actual draft would be a Joke, too.
