I haven't seen much seen on here about this guy, and I honestly haven't watched him much live but I've heard nothing but good things about him. How would he fit in on this team? Does he have the ability to gain some size and become a NT or can he even play DE in the 3-4? I see him listed in most places as a 1-gap DT in the 4-3, but I've also read a few mocks having us taking him.

What's his deal and what do you guys think of him?

Great player but a bad fit for the Jets

He'd be too undersized for the 3-4 as a DT. Maybe he can be a DE but even then........

He is undersized for the 3-4 defensive line and he also has a different skill set required for the position. He is a lot like Dewayne Robertson in that he is better at penetration rather than holding his ground.

Alright, this is pretty much what I thought. Thanks guys. I swear some of the places that throw together these mocks have no idea what a team's needs are and how players fit into their system.

The closest player I think of is Okoye, first round draft pick last year. Okoye was younger though, but similiar game.

whoever has the jets taking sedrick ellis with the #6 overall pick simply proves that he has no idea of what he is doing. i just skip those mocks.
