So far I'm extremely happy with the defense, especially the secondary overall. I've been happy with the play of Lito/Strickland and ecstatic on the play of Revis. The one area in the secondary I can see room for improvement in the secondary is the safety play. I'm happy with Rhodes overall play, but I like a ball attacking Safety corp. and this leads em to Lowery. I've liked his talents since the Jets drafted him, but I don't think he'll cut it as a #1 or #2 Corner in the NFL, just abit too slow to cover the fast NFL wideouts but he has a great nose for the ball and where the action is. Watching him in limited action the last two weeks has reconfirmed in my mind that the best move for Lowery is to move him from Corner to Safety where he is more free to follow the play rather than try to keep up with a burner all game long. He's abit small for a hard hitting safety but he's shown the ability to tackle and more importantly he's shown the ability when allowed to range to know where the action is going, I'd love to see him free to try and attack the ball providing top cover for the corners and I personally think this would be an additional boon to the jets defense.
