The record was held by my team Galatasaray at 131.6 desibels Seahawk fans broke the record by 136.6 http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on...ets-guinness-world-record-for-loudest-stadium Well I hate the Seahawks!!!
I've no idea who "your team" Galastasarieasray is and as for Seattle, they have a "hooded" stadium that encapsulates the crowd noise. Starbucks Seahawks. Enjoy the drizzle. Seattle: San Fran wannabe lite.
Bill Burr is right. There's no way football crowd noise gets anywhere close to the level of a jet engine without engineering of some kind, and also most likely piping in some artificial noise. On an unrelated note, Bob Kraft can suck my dick for that ridiculously meaningless horn sound that was blasting on every third down when Geno was getting the call through his helmet. The Jets better be air raiding the fuck out of Brady the next time we play those bitches.
I've been to a Seahawks game at CenturyLink, and that place is loud as fukk. I don't know about artificial noise thru speakers and all that crap, but that place rocks and vibrates like no other.
They have been doing that for years, I think it is a foghorn. Seattle fans get excited for soccer, of course they will break records for an exciting sport.
I can't believe people are bitter about this. Good for them, even more importantly, hell of a win Sunday night.
