Seahawks core is set though for at least the next 4 years

    Sherman
    Earl Thomas
    Kam Chancellor
    Wilson
    Wagner
    Jimmy Graham

If you asked me if this was feasible last year or the year before, I would've laughed.

I think they are going to need to restructure some contracts if they want any kind of room to maneuver next season, this season depending on how it was structured they are right up against the cap, they had about $4.4M to work with before Wagner's extension.

They've already started bleeding, though. They cut Tony McDaniel, their starting DT earlier today for cap space reasons.

They've lost interior starters and depth over the few seasons and are a star or two away from falling apart, you saw what their CBs looked like in the SB when you ignore Sherman.

Sometimes you're better off letting a star walk and keeping 2 or 3 of those good but not great players, you'll never know when you need them. NE may not win the SB if SEA kept Browner and Thurmon. Couldn't afford either because of stupid moves like Percy Harvin and others.

It's amazing they've kept the guys they really needed to keep. You have an elite secondary and a rangy middle linebacker, a franchise quarterback, an All-Pro tightend and runningback. All pass rushers would get a +3 on their rating if it was madden (lol) when they're playing in Seattle because the crowd feeds the pass rush.

The question marks that they'll have is their offensive line. They'll keep recycling receivers that know to break their routes off when Wilson scrambles. It's up to the front office to draft blockers well and if they do than they're going to be in NFC Championship games and Superbowls frequently for the next 5 years.
