Curt Schilling was an immensely talented pitcher. The fact that he's an utter buffoon can't change that.

Dude, fuck Curt Schilling. He is the biggest loud mouth piece of shit in all of sports. I have less respect for his overly critical, under educated mouth than i do for the antics of guys like ocho and T.O. They have fun with their antics, where as Schilling is just bitter because he is starting to realize that he means nothing to baseball anymore and will not get into the hall (not enough wins, not enough K's), so he is trying any way he can to have people remember his pathetic name.

Yeah because Patriots and BoSox fans are so classy.

He mentions nothing about the bandwagon Celtics fans, even Schill himself was wearing a Celtics jersey in their "run." FRONT-RUNNER.

The Giants beat the Pats causing them to have one of the biggest choke jobs of all-time.

For one of the best big game pitchers of all-time, and 2 rings...He's a fucking stupid person.

Looks like he's practicing for a career as a propaganda minister after he hangs up the glove.

Why couldn't he have suffered an injury that will make him a mute?

I see a lot of people calling him a lot of names, but I don't see anyone saying he's wrong.

EDIT: And that's not just here, but everywhere else I've seen this talked about today.

He brought in three new quarterbacks this offseason, I believe. Cassell didn't play great in preseason, but he still won the job.

He's an arrogant punk for the rest of it.

You miss the whole point. It's not a question of whether he is right or wrong, of course he is right, it's that he thinks he is important enough to even voice an opinion on it. Who the fuck is he anyway? Just another fat slob ex baseball player.

He was doing his normal interview with WEEI,they asked for his opinion and he gave it. What's wrong with him voicing his opinion on something? Would it pad the egos of all parties around if he simply offered up a bunch of cliches about "toughening up" and said he has great respect for the New York?

Isn't Schilling known for being the loneliest guy in baseball because no one likes him??

And Boston fans are 2nd worst to the Philly fans, where do they find this shit?

I'm so glad I'm not from Boston or anywhere north of CT.

You could argue that what he said was obnoxious and incorrect, but it was was his stupid call-in with insane talk show hosts and they asked for his thoughts. His thoughts might infuriate you, but I don't see why he shouldn't have shared them. I don't know why he should have considered himself too unimportant to give his opinion.
