From 2002 to 2005, the years we were expected to do well, we always played New England game 15. I'm betting we have them Christmas week again.

2006 they figured we weren't worth slotting against the Pats that late in the schedule.

Herm's return to the Meadowlands would be a nice opener, but we played the Chiefs in the opener two years ago, I doubt we play them again.

Did they make one for Super Bowl III? I thought they only made the top 20 Super Bowl teams into one hour shows, was I wrong?

Not too good of a result either.

I'd like the Skins or Pats @ home opening day. Skins because it feels good to kick their ass . Pats , I'd like to see us at full strength Vs them at full strength , a bench mark kind of thing.

After the top 20 countdown, they've been doing many different shows about once per week of different teams that weren't top 20. the 1968 jets shouldn't be too far off, probably showing soon. I mean when the series did come out, joe namath was in the commercial, so there must be one.

I seriously think its Bills @ Jets week 1.....Could be hosting the Steelers or Eagles too.

Herms teams are always woefully prepared to start the season. I'd be glad to play them in the opener to take a W.

Not to mention if they were prepared, the Jets would still beat them.

Bills and Jets have played in the first 3 games a lot recently. More than any other opponent.

They always try to have you face someone of equal ability compared to the season before. My guess is either KC or Philadelphia, maybe Pitt.

We played the Skins to open a few years ago. Plus, I would hate to play the Skins week 1. They usually get off to a decent start, their fan base gets excited, and their old overpaid players eventually wear out later in the season and they end up collapsing. I'd rather play the Eagles week 1.
