Are we in as a wildcard with a win and baltimore loss next week?

No. Our only chance to get into the playoffs is as the division winner

    win, haha thats funny.

i actually dont know, i am fairly confident that baltimore is in no matter what, but i very well might be wrong. i dont expect them to lose though. i think its win and new england lose or we sit at home.

Yeah I'd like some clarification on this as well. Yahoo mentioned the ravens losing scenario in the post-game article, can anyone confirm or deny this?

Jets would be 8-4 in conference, Ravens would be 7-5. Isn't conference first tiebreaker after head-to-head?

Not true. Beat Miami and hope NE loses to Buffalo and Balt. loses to Jacksonville. Go to church, light a candle and make a deal with God you know you won't be able to keep.

The Jets, Dolphins and Ravens would all be 10-6

The Jets would be ranked ahead of the Dolphins in the division by going 2-0 against them. The next tiebreaker would be between the Jets and Ravens, and in order for the two teams to be tied, the Jets would be 8-4 in the AFC and the Ravens would be 7-5. The Jets can be the wild card.

hmmm that would be interesting if the Jets are infact able to grab a WC spot. bc on SNY postgame they kept on emphasizing that the Jets only ways of getting in is by winning and having Buffalo upset the Pats.

The Jets are in with a Win and Baltimore loss for the Wild Card. Jets are in with win and a Patriots loss for the divison. I guess simple as that. That makes us the biggest Buffalo and Jacksonville fans next week. Unbelievable we could let this lead slip away.
A microcosm of the season, did you see our receivers effort to get open on that last 4th down that Favre almost hit Coles. They were just standing there right next to defenders not even try to get open. At least Coles was running a decent route.

Scenario?...you've got to be F-ing kidding me...did you just watch that game. That team doesnt ever deserve to get paid to play another week.

The only reason I will watch is to see Chad get his sweet revenge. In late December it is generally best served cold.

I hate the F-ing Dolphins, but I hate the Woody-Tanny-Mangini-Favre Monster More.

Yeah, I think we have the tie-breaker over Baltimore if Baltimore loses and we win. Interestingly enough, EVERYONE on the Jets CBS coverage (and sny postgame coverage), is saying that the ONLY way the Jets get in is if NE loses in Buffalo and we beat Miami. Amazingly, I think they are ALL wrong. Conference record is ahead of common opponents when settling a tie-breaker between teams NOT in the same division.
