Did you know Since 2003, New England is 5-0 in games played the week after a game vs. the Colts (including playoffs).hmy:
The stat that really pisses me off is we lost our last 7 games vs. this team. We havent beat them since December 22, 2002. We won 30-17.
On a good note the pats are playing worse at home than on the road. They're undefeated on the road but are 2-2 at home. Gillette Stadium might be losing its mojo.
These stats drive me nuts. Who cares that they are 5-0 after playing the Colts? Or that the Jets lost 7 straight games to them? You play to win the game each Sunday, yeah I said it. The Jets could easily lose Sunday and make those Stats 6-0 and 0-8, but they could also win.
Haven't lost 2 in a row, 5-0 after the Colts and 7-0 against us last 7... The nice thing for us is that we can break there many positive streaks while also ending our negative one. I just wish this game wasn't in Foxboro, especially with so much riding on it.
We are so so due to win, and the Patriots are due to have something really bad happen. C'mon Brady...break a leg! I still have no idea how we beat them in 2002 with Herm, I think that was Belichickens first look at Pennington and since then he's learned.
True, I remember in 2002 we had Ellis and Abraham in his face all day, he couldn't buy a second. I don't have as much faith in our pass rush tomorrow. Also remember a few days prior to the game we signed a NE castoff (Steven Martin DT?) who was on waivers and got the Pats playbook. It was far too late for Belichicken to make adjustments and we pretty much were 2 steps ahead the entire game.
Not fun that way!? WOW i think someone needs to realize that we're the jets and we need to take a win anyway we can.
Ha ha yeah man. Not saying I wouldn't be happy with it, just would be better to beat them with Brady.
oh jeez, you are the ultimate curse. everyone needs to collectively knock on wood and throw salt over their shoulders right now. cheers
How about all the teams who had a Week 8 bye won in week 9: Miami over Chicago Buffalo over GB Washington over Dallas Detroit over Atlanta
Good point. I think we are in position for one upset. Both games have stats in our favor..other then the playing field stats. You have the Pats game..which you listed above. Then you have the Bears playing back to back at the meadowlands...one being a nationally tv game with all the hype..and then the little ole Jets. Im pretty convinced we will win one of the next two...to put at us at the 5-5 mark.
I just see it as long over due to end that streak, streaks are meant to be broken and Mangini is the guy to do it
