holy shit that was fast. good job tanny and David Dunn. isn't it nice when both sides really want to get something done and they do it together rather than jockeying for position? Mr. Keels needs to find that market value number he can agree on and work out the contract with Tanny so that our backfield can be a happy place for the summer. Only one more contract dispute left.

what is great about this is how fast he got a deal done, it really shows how much he wants to be there and how he is committed to this team
either that or we backed a dump truck full of cash into his driveway this morning. I don't mind if the Jets look a little foolish for "overpaying" relative to last year's #5 pick, but I really hoping he didn't get a #1-type deal at #5
I get the text messages from the Jets about their moves, and when I received this one 20 minutes ago, I thought it would be about signing some free agent player for training camp. This is a very nice surprise indeed. Good for the Jets.
i have a feeling when the terms come out a lot of ppl here are going to think we completely over paid him. which might be the case. we will not know until a few seasons from now
Usually when a player is signed this early, it means that the player made out like a bandit on the deal. Personally, I'm glad just to get him signed, but there's a good chance we forked over a bit more money than we should have.
