it'd be nice to see him getting into a rhythem early in the game. all the last second wins were great but it'd be nice not to need them next year.

He needs to bang older women than he has been. And hotter ones as well. I don't think he quite realises yet quite how good the pussy is that he can get as quarterback of the New York Jets.

I'd like to see his numbers keep improving.

Mainly, his completion percentage...though it would be nice to see his TD count rise into the mid-20s.

I think there needs to be a level of ownership of the offense that he needs to get to in year 3. I think he made some strides here, but I think he needs to do a better job commanding the offense and the situation. He did a great job stepping up at the end of a lot of games, but I think overall he could do a better job of that throughout the game.

I still stand by what I've been saying.

He needs to work on his finesse passes over the middle and his deep passes over the middle.
He needs to be about 10%-12% more accurate.
He needs to scramble more (nothing crazy).
He needs to shed Schottenheimer and to be intuitive of what the situation calls for (think AFCCG...goalline, can't hear the play...use your head...)

I like that he took sacks/threw the ball away when nothing developed and I liked he cut down on the fumbles during snaps.

I'd like to see 25+ TD's and 10 or less picks
    A completion percentage around 60
    A superbowl MVP

Quit being a such a dick.

If we get playoff Sanchez all season I'll be happy, his accuracy was up and that was the only thing really missing.

His pocket presence is already great and is ability to extend plays is amazing, especially when it's crunch time.

As long as the accuracy stays at or above 60% the rest will fall into place.

Less drops by the receivers too. Surprisingly, he had the most attempts of any QB in playoffs, and only had 13 INTs.

he has to have more command of the offense

if he sees the blitz he needs to audible out of the run up the middle and change the play up

if he cant hear the call instead of wasting valueable time just call a play you are comfortable executing

he also needs to start games better, we need to put points up early instead of always depending on the comeback

Sometimes it's hard to tell what's the QB's fault and what's the OC's fault.

    1. Get the ball to Keller more. He's a huge matchup problem for the defense and can move the chains.
    2. Be more consistent. Don't wait until the 4th quarter to turn it on.
    3. I don't know how much freedom Schotty gives Sanchez to audible, but work on reading the defense and audibling between pass and run plays.
    4. Throw it away when nothing's there. Even on 3rd down, it's better to throw it where only your guy can catch it or throw it away.
    5. He started to do this better as the season went on, transition between multiple reads so that you aren't throwing into double coverage.
    6. Don't listen to Schotty. Not all drives that end in kicks are good drives.

take more deep shots down field. in 2009 i remember after about 3 offensive series schotty would have Sanchez throw a 50yard bomb. That kind of disappeared last year. Take more shots down the field basically.

    and of course completion %.

more consistency. He needs to play better throughout games so he doesn't have to play great at the end. With consistency, everything else improves. Footwork, accuracy, rhythm, everything.

Also Schotty needs to step up, and figure out how to get this kids motor going in the 1st quarter. I'm sick of winning games 20-19 with 2minutes left.

i would like him to have more influence over the offense, partly because it means shotty would have less

Yeah on every 1std down of the 3rd series they would take a shot down field. Someone on 1050 pointed this out, and after that I started paying attention to that it was true.

I'd love to see more quick routes over the middle, slants and posts.

Last year I said game experience.

    I'll go with that again.

He's still not polished. This is the breakout year. He'll make more plays and work on the details.

this is why i think Schotty is seriously brain damaged. Why in the hell would he take shots in his rookie season, but not in 2010 WITH HOLMES, and EDWARDS?

but instead Schotty would rather call LT up the middle.

What's even scarier about that is a radio personality pointed this out and he was dead on.

If he could I would certainly hope the opposition did. The fact that we rarely saw Holmes burn down the sideline and Sanchez throw it up is a disgrace. That play in the AFC Champ game was great, we should try plays like that at least 3 times a game.
