Anyone else notice how Sanchez stopped really celebrating the final TD after he came to the sideline and started talking to his QB coach? To me he looked self-assured and composed. I think the message that Rex and Schotty wanted to sink in, has sunk in: regardless of the situation, you need to not get too high and not too low so that your teammates know you'll keep your wits when others might be losing theirs. Nice job by Sanchez and the Coaching staff. The kid is growing up before our eyes.
Yea there was a thread about this last week.Sanchez keepin his emotions to a minimum now.He is bein taught about it.
Absolutely. I was a little worried about his attitude after watching Hard Knocks, but he has surpassed my expectations for sure.
Rex and Schotty... but it was Brunell the one that Mark listened. Something on the lines of "if you don't get overexcited on a TD, you won't get overwhelmed on an INT".
I wouldn't be surprised if that scene where the coach (cavanaugh?) was lecturing him about focusing more as he was absentmindedly looking through his bag was a total set up. It was too perfect and those guys like to mess with each other, so why not for the cameras..
