He does absolutely nothing, never even trys to challenge the Ravens Defense and plays a horrible game in all aspects, What does he do after the game? instead of being pissed off or even upset and going to the locker room. he jogs over to their head coach and players to chat. I understand sportsmanship but if you watch great quaterbacks for example Peyton Manning he gets off the field and looks ready to take someons head off after a loss. This kid is just that a kid who is impressed by everyone one the field and acts more like a fan then a leader of an NFL team.
Don't rip on the guy for losing with class. He sucked dick tonight and there are a million reasons to rip him to pieces but this isn't one.
I actually agree with the OP to a certain extent. He doesn't have enough fire and urgency. That may come with time. When he went (out of his way) to give a fist-pound to a Raven Dlineman during 2nd or 3rd down, I was thinking, "WTF are you doing?? get back in the huddle!!"
Who cares what he does after the game, Bottom line is he's a shit quarterback that where going to be waiting til the end of time to "Develop".
that's part of the problem. he badly wants to have a positive TD/INT ratio and the Jets have him way too worried about protecting the football. he plays scared and doesn't let his talent show.
Its hard to throw an interception when you dont throw the ball anywhere downfield, also never really picked up the blitz, like someone else said he looked like a deer in the headlights. the game just move to fast for him he needs more attempts to get settled in.
I DONT WANT TO SEE ANY INTERVIEWS OR HEAR ANY JET SAY ANOTHER WORD!!! they all need to shut up and produce!(EXCEPT THE DEFENSE)
Yep. He was looking at the checkdown almost instantly. By the third quarter he was barely looking downfield.
I forgot who started the thread that complained about Sanchez celebrating because it wasted energy. I'm willing to bet a lot it was you though.
He is being babied yet again by the offensive guru wiz that we have. Brett Favre, Chad Pennington, Kellen Clemens work this same great offense. The infamous dink and dunk offense that has Tony Richardson looking like Chris Johnson as a threat, except he is about 10 years older and doesn't have any speed or break away agility. The only reason why Scotty was bailed out for all these years with this offense was because the guy we used to use on these plays was Leon Washington, who actually has the speed and playmaking ability to negate the terrible playcalling. Its like Brian Scottenheimer took a page out of his old man's book of conservative playcalling and then 1-up it.
