Well, it's earlier than we would have liked or hoped.... but does anyone know about where we stand with the cap? I'm pretty sure we don't have a ton of room, seeing that we needed to make some room to bring in our HOF QB... how bad off are we?

Jets will be over by 8M next year after the cap increase. (If my source is reliable)

All the more reason to play for the bowl game this year, which Mangini failed with colossal magnitude.

What happens if Brett Favre, Bubba Franks, Bryan Thomas and David Barrett are all gone? Plus this team really doesn't need to bring in a ton of big free agents.
