Of all the talk of Rosen, Darnold, Rudolph etc. the QB not many are talking about that I would love to see the Jets go after and I think is the real deal is this kid from the QB factory NC State.

Seeing him live in person a couple of times I can say he is poised and has incredible accuracy.

Unfortunately I can see us going after a another USC QB bust, while I think the Giants end up with a solid QB in Rosen.

I've only seen a few moments from him this year unfortunately, but did notice he had a tough game against BC on Saturday. He also had a nice INT-free streak going up until a couple weeks ago. Glad to hear from somebody who has actually watched him a bit. And yes, the school does have pretty good NFL QB pedigree, which should count for something. He's somebody to track in this process so he also deserves a thread

One really can't speak of NC State as having a pretty good NFL QB pedigree, because they've had several different HCs and OCs over the last 10 years or so.

I had originally mentioned it, but it was really tongue in cheek, I know Phillip Rivers and Russel Wilson really have nothing to do with each other.

Just like Sanchez ans Leinart sucking will have nothing to do with Darnold sucking.

    Bumping this thread

For those that did not catch the Sun Bowl
Finley was 24 out of 29 for 318 yards - 1 TD and 0 ints in NC State’s big win

In 2 years as a starter
    2016 18 tds 8 ints 135.2 qb rating 3059 yards
    2017. 17 tds 6 ints. 136 qb rating 3518 yards

Tall and strong pocket passer with great accuracy. This kid will be a starter in the NFL.
I personally think he will be a better value with a third rounder than trading up, might end up being the best NFL qb in this draft.
