Son of a bitch. Two teams I like in this one. I actually like K State more, but I want to see the Big East do well, so I don't know who I'll pull for here. I think this could be a close game. Rutgers should win it unless they bring a poor attitude to the game knowing if they had beaten Cincy they would have been in a much better bowl. But Rutgers is new to this bowl thing and their coach is good, so I expect them to play hard.
I have never seen Kansas State play so I guess I'm not a good judge but it seems like Rutgers can beat almost anyone if they play their game. Get the running game going and play solid defense and I bet they come away with a win
I'm a Kansas State fan, but I've been on the Rutgers bandwagon all year because they sucked for as long as I could remember growing up. I think Rutgers should be able to win this one because the K-State offense is an enigma. Josh Freeman went from hero to goat in one week after looking so poised against Texas to throwing three picks against freaking Kansas. I'm not so sure that KSU's run defense has an answer for Rice and Leonard either. They haven't seen an offensive backfield of that caliber this year.
I haven't seen K-State play in years. Was actually at one of their games at Oklahoma in 1991. As for this one, Rutgers looks real good and was a cunt hair from being in the Orange Bowl, so I'll take RU.
Freeman can be a hell of a QB when he's playing well, but when he's not, KSU won't come close to winning. Seeing as how he's the type of quarterback that always gives the Knights defense issues, I'd say that I wouldnt be surprised if they won this one, but overall, I'd say this is RU's to lose; especially if Teel is still playing well.
