Hey all, just thought I'd post this after seeing it on Youtube. As I was watching I realized that a lot of it theoretically applies to Zach Wilson also. The reason is that Russell Wilson runs a highly specialized offense designed to manage his strengths and weaknesses. The Seahawks had multiple coordinators come in from different systems but they always wound up running Russell's offense. With Zach Wilson it is clear that there are things that he does well but that those things are not necessarily what the average QB does well. The Jets would be really wise to tailor the offense to Zach Wilson's strengths, cut out the stuff he doesn't do well and let the offense and Zach evolve together. Anyway, here's the Youtube video on Russell Wilson. it's very much worth the watch, particularly given his change in teams which is why the video was made.
Most coaches at any level have a tendency to try to fit the player into their system, rather than modify the system to a special player's strengths. I hope they in fact do try to play to Zach's strengths which would include a lot more roll-out passes.
^ This +1....put Lisa Wilson in charge of Flight Crew casting and raise the minimum age for these slutty-looking pom pom-waving 'MILFs' to 40.
