    Hey,

So with Brick making so much money and breno not being that good, should the Jets look at Okung? He's 28 coming off a shoulder injury and he's representing himself.

    Worth looking into?

id stay away. there was some retirement talk early on with the injury. i think he is more of a right tackle as well. i mean if the money is low id be ok with it, especially if its replacing breno, but id prefer elsewhere.

ya really don't know much about him but if breno is 5.xx mil hit to the cap, i think we can get okung cheaper, high risk high reward kinda gamble

    Without a doubt.

I don't think the same approach can or should be used to address the OL that was used to address the RB situation, but I would like to see one proven asset from FA at either LT or RT.

I think we've done a majority of our spending. I'm tired of these overhyped Seahawk OL getting paid because they were on a good team even tho their line still sucked.

True but Breno sucks and Sweezy just got the worst contract of the offseason.

If we got him for like $7-$8mil, little guaranteed money and cut Breno then yeah, it would be a great deal. We can restructure D'Brick and draft a guard or whatever.

I did say if we could get him for cheap, no need to spend 8-9 mil a year on him

Okung is very good. If he is healthy, it's an intriguing idea for RT and nuke Breno

He seems to have fallen off a bit, but he could be an intriguing player to take advantage of as he's representing himself. I don't know much about him, or his law intelligence, but I can't imagine it's much different than any of us negotiating a multi-million dollar contract with tons of legal jargon tossed in.

It boggles my mind how Breno is still here.. Okung would be a awesome replacement if the price is right.

I mean sure Okung is worth looking into....

But we can't afford him and only would really be able to if we CUT both Brick and Breno.

He won't be for long. Make no mistake. We're going to sign a tackle and Breno will be cut moments later.

He's signed a weird deal - only $5 mill for this season, but a four-year $48 mill option if Denver wants to keep him after that.

He signed a deal with zero guaranteed money. I guess an agent is worth the 3%.

Bizarre deal. I couldn't imagine negotiating my own contract worth millions of dollars but I'd think I'd do a better job than that.

He must've fell in love with that $2 million workout bonus. Why couldn't we take this guy to the bank before Denver did? Absolutely zero protection from training camp/preseason injury.
