With the way Barlow ran last time against New England, and the fact that Houston has been unimpressive this year, who do you activate at runningback? I know a lot of people will say Houston without thinking about it because they hate Barlow, but it's 3.3 YPC for Houston and 2.8 for Barlow, so neither is running well.

It depends on the Conditions, We can always Deactivate one of those Scrubs LB's or Tutt and Keep 3 RB's ready...

IMO, They have a Very Slow LB Corp, We have to attack them around the edges. Use our speed and Houston/Washington do that better.

One Play is the Fake Quick screen to Leon with the Second screen being set up on the backside...
    I love that Play

In my opinion, they should continue what they have been doing. Leon has been great for us so far this year, and whenever we need 1-3 yards, we put in Houston, who has shown the will and desire to give the second effort for those yards.

You give the majority of the carries to Washington, and give the rest to Houston. Barlow is trash.

Unless they only need one yard, the Jets should be rushing Leon every time.

    No, NE eats up Washington.

Barlow is made for this game, except this game is on turf which may be a difference.

This "Barlow is trash" stuff is BS. He's Houston wearing a different #.

Leon had 9 carries for 35 yards vs. NE

That is not really "eating " him up

I'm not sure it matters. The difference between Houston and Barlow is minimal. We can talk about Barlow's success against the Pats on the sloppy field all we want, but the Pats were banged up on the DL in that game, big time.

    9 carries, he'll be fine.

    25, and he'll be eaten.

Barlow may not be as effective on carpet as he was in the mud, but I like all three to be active on Sunday - mix it up.

despite the ypc, i think Houston has been very impressive, and is a nice compliment to Washington. Anyone who has watched all the games can see that Barlow has not looked very good at all

I watched every game, and I wouldn't want to live on the difference between Barlow and Houston. Houston's younger, I'll give him that.

Who wants to live on the difference? Certainly not me, but I think Houston has a clear edge. He just seems to be a little quicker and more aggressive into the holes than Barlow. Im not saying I dont want to upgrade at RB in the off season

Houston is a much more fluid runner then Barlow and has the ability to break tackles. Barlow also runs as if he is standing up right. Neither one has been real solid this year because our offensive line has a tough time creating space but I think Barlow is gone after the year and Houston will have a chance to compete for a roster spot next year.

Just from watching him (Barlow), he takes the handoffs, lowers his head and just runs where the play is designed to go, never makes cuts, has no field vision, with the exception of a dozen runs he gains 0-2 yards it seems everytime he touches the ball.

Thats the kind of runner he is though. Believe it or not we're not the greatst run blocking team in the world either. Houston does the same thing but has more success (but not much more). And the difference between houston's success compared to barlow's is nothing for than luck.

I don't think we would've won the second NE had it not been for some key barlow runs.

My hate for Barlow won't allow me to say activate him. Activate Neon Leon and Electric Cedric and roll baby roll.

What are you basing that on?

Well since there is no way to base it on statistics, I'm just basing it on my opinion from what I see.

I don't think Leon Washington is ready for 25 carries in a game yet.. He may some day, but not yet. I can live with up to 15.

When you say it like that, I understand it's your opinion. Your original post sounded as if you were stating a fact.

The 2 games he did receive 20 carries or more he had over 100 yards, admittedly the Jax game was garbage time. I think he could be successful if given the ball more but that's just my opinion.

I don't like Barlow against them anymore with the new turf. In the mud he was a beast though.
