Again a player NOT wanting to play is very damning, that you almost have to cut/discipline said player…this isn’t something to try to protect Zach over, from Saleh to Rodgers. It leads me to believe this report is BS or what was actually said was taken out of context.

This is Zach telling the team that he doesn't need this job. One of the reasons he should never have been drafted.

From Boy Green on X - quoting Diana Russini on the Michael Kay show.

"Damn @DMRussini just dropped some massive updated intel on this #Jets, Zach Wilson situation!
‘The entire building has been aware of this for a week now that Zach Wilson has had reluctance to want to go back in there. He has expressed it openly to people’
‘[Aaron Rodgers] was told to speak with [Zach Wilson] last Wednesday about changing his mind. I was told that it didn’t even work initially. Zach said thanks, but no thanks. This is what I’m going to do moving forward.’
He has now changed his mind someone from Zach’s camp reached out to tell Russini that if he was offered the starting job he would now take it & play.
‘The Jets know I know, Zach Wilson knows I know, & Aaron Rodgers once again has gone on television to refute a report that’s accurate’"

she knows so much she deleted her original statement and has a history of lying and making up stories for clicks.
i'm glad you didn't put a link that would just give her more traffic. even the wording is funny.
    "reluctance"
also she has inside info of a conversation that only rodgers and wilson had? if it was true, wilson would never leak it for obvious reasons. and rodgers hates her and would never give her anything so that makes 0 sense
zachs camp reaching out to her makes sense because she was spreading rumors and they were attempting to squash it

again it's a blown out thing. I don't blame him for being reluctant which could be true but reluctant is a far cry from refusing to play. we all do shit we don't want to do and are reluctant to do

Quite frankly I find the whole leakage thing quite a sad state of affairs for this team. And it started because some horse shit rat or two within the organization, cowardly went outside the team instead of handling it internally. How pathetic to throw a teammate under the bus to leak such crap to the press. . It just shows me how blatantly incompetent this bottom of the barrel organization is. AR said it best, flush the rats out, and was the only one that got Zach to pull his head out of his rear end and grow up. An advice that should have been provided to more than half of these bozos that fancy themselves as team players or good coaches. Now let the NY media publicly crucify Zach one more time as the root of all evil on one hand and give Woody, JD, RS and the joke of an OC for starters a vote of confidence one more freaking time. Worst organization in the NFL strikes again.

one thing to point out is regardless of this being a way overblown thing, the so called "source" isn't necessarily player. could be anyone in the building including a janitor cleaning up nearby and then the "journalist" just spins it with plausible deniability. then deletes it, then back tracks, then double downs lol. the whole thing is a joke we shouldn't have brought into.

It’s not blown out at all. A draft pick bust that is reportedly reluctant to play Qb for the team that drafted him would be major news on any team. Comparing a normal fan to a millionaire QB that has privilege to play QB in the NFL is as silly as they come.

I wonder who starts in Houston on Sunday. Did Saleh already commit? My gut tells me they'll trot Semien back out there again. Zach probably will remain QB3 if Rypien gets a quick handle on the HS Offense Hackett comes up with weekly. I do know this. This HC and CS would be out of their minds to start Zach in MetLife again this year. Frankly, the kid is burned here and his legion of fans dwindle slowly. The crowd would crucify Zach for every missed throw, every sack. God forbid the kid throws another pick. Zach would need a police escort just to get to the lockerroom.

Only 2 more home games left in '23. Thought this next game was in Houston.

This weekend will tell the tale. Boyle is gone and if they trot a practice squad guy from SEA at one or two ahead of Zach then we have our answer.

Has anyone actually denied the report? Because I haven’t seen anyone including Saleh, Rodgers, etc. say it’s not true so I’m not really getting where your whole attack the source thing is coming from.

Also - what history of lying does she have that you keep stating? I haven’t seen anything like that but I’m open minded to it. The only controversy I remember was some team executives wife saying she’s blown team sources for insider information on Twitter.

It’s starting to actually get much better and turn into such a trashy reality TV show.

It is sad though given the amount of young talented players we have on the roster at some key positions. The in-season circus is all fun and games but the offseason is going to be real ugly when the Sauce and Garrett Wilson’s of the world start demanding their way out of here.

No doubt. This is like using humor to hide how angry, depressed, hurt, whatever it is you are at a given time. In reality, this is a complete calamity. It is an indictment of just how dysfunctional this organization is from the top down. We are going to lose anyone we have that is a solid player, and we are going to go back to overpaying for over the hill free agents because no one with any sense or promise will come here.

Every bit of kidding aside, I can't imagine how any type of organization with any level of integrity can allow things like this to happen at all, much less every couple of years.

The sideshow is the only fun part of being a Jets fan. Keeps those meaningless late October, November, and December games entertaining.

Then there will have to be a pool for the offseason so we can bet on which Jets star demands a trade first. That'll get us through the first month or so of the offseason while we wait for Rodgers to announce his retirement.

That reason is our shit of a Line. Mike is only good if he does not pay attention to pass pro and is playing effectively 7 on 7. He does have a good processor, but he needs to be protected. If he didn't take that beating, he would look every week like he looked the last week of his year against Seattle. The only difference between the last week and the weeks before is that he stood tall in the picket and took the shots like a trooper.

After he got hurt he didn't want to do it anymore, it was fresh and possibly he didn't fully heal. But the point is, after a game or two, with this line, he would get hit again and would revert back to Mike White against Seattle. And it would happen a lot sooner than before (not that it took long) because he already has memories of these shots. Mike White is not making play-offs with this line, whether Hack or MILF is calling the plays.

Believe she said Rodgers had a list of players he demanded to be apart of the team or something like that. Aaron basically called her out for that report
