The Post is reporting Morgan Moses diagnosis as an MCL sprain and a bone bruise. Good news.....this seems to indicate he can very well be back in time for the MNF Buffalo game. In the mean time I'm anxious to see how Olu performs in his absence....
Yep https://x.com/RapSheet/status/1837515022542553585 Keep him home and make him ready for the Bills game.
Old looked fantastic when he stepped in. My suspicion is Olu is better than Moses and Smith physically speaking, but he’ll need time to recognize NFL blitzes and disguises.
And this is EXACTLY why Olu was absolutely the right pick for us…honestly I didn’t think the injury bug would hit week 3, but here we are
I've got a bad feeling the Jets are going to find plenty of things for Olu to do as the season unfolds. By the end we'll probably wish we had two of him.
This is good. Olu gets some playing time, and when Moses comes back, we can figure out what the best tackle lineup is.
Nobody talks about it yet but AVT is also getting injured mid season past 2 seasons. Hope he doesn't get hurt this year but in case he does does Olu have any experience playing Guard?
Negative on the G play. I don't believe he got any time at G pre-season or in camp. They view as their future LT rn. Not sure if they're getting Schweitzer back, but they have Connor McGovern on the practice squad behind the guys listed on the depth chart. That aside AVT looks good as do Simpson and Tippman. Knock on wood
I saw an interview with a couple of ex GMs who thought Ole was the best tackle amongs some very very good ones this year.
Great news when you consider how our luck usually runs on these things. Hope he makes a full and quick recovery and in the meantime, Olu gets some quality experience and rises to the occasion.
And it was against the Broncos each time. At least this time it’s in NJ and not Denver. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don’t think they ever ran in Olu’s direction while he was in, but he looked solid in pass pro most of the time. I think he’ll make some rookie mistakes but be ok for the most part.
