I haven't done much research on this year's draft. What's everyone's thoughts on who will be there for us round 2? Is there someone worth trading up for?

Courtney Upshaw. I would be ecstatic if he was still there

Upshaw would be perfect to trade up for. We get a great pass rusher (if motivated) and a solid OLB who said he would love to play for Rex. Sign me up. Tanny crushed me tonight, but he can redeem himself. GET IT DONE.

No need to trade up. First round fell perfectly for the Jets in terms of their needs. Three great RT prospects (Glenn, Martin, Adams) still available, as well as three great WR prospects (Hill, Randle, Jeffery). One of those guys should fall to the Jets. Don't think Upshaw will make it but he'd be a great pick as well.

We should def move up for Upshaw. He won't last till 47. We might have to give up a 3rd to move our second up high enough to get him though

Can't wait until tomorrow already. Downside of the primetime format.

if not Upshaw, I hear Mohammed Sanu is a possibility. I would prefer an OLB though since I see Braylon as a safety net

I'm not very interested in going receiver here in round 2. Get me one of these linebackers (branch, curry, upshaw) or o lineman (Adams, Glenn, massie, Allen, Schwartz)

Upshaw, Hill, or Randle in Round 2. Iloka in the 3rd.

There are a number of interesting options for the second round. I wouldn't be adverse to moving up a couple slots in the second for the right player, but I wouldn't spend more than a 6th and 7th to move up 2 or 3 slots at most....

Personally, I say sit where we are and pick the best player available at one of OLB, RT, or S, in no particular order.

Give me Branch, Curry, Hill (maybe even Sanu) or the human football vacuum- Jeffery. Come back in late second round for one of those or a RB (give 'em our third, fourth (next season's) (and a sixth or something to sweeten it) to get whatever we don't get with our pick. Double dip in the second and get two instant impact players, no fucking around.

To the Broyles recommendation- I feel like he'd be an awesome, dominant slot WR. Can't see him across from Holmes as really that viable. We've Kerley, so give me bigger guy that can go up and get it.

If Randle, Hill or Glenn far enough, I would consider trading up for them. I love Randle- he’s such a fluid athlete and has great potential, Hill is a perfect fit for this team and Glenn is just great value at a huge position of need.

Other than that, I would target the names above too.

If the board falls like it did in the 1st, we could have a very good 2nd round pick.
