    1. Raiders: Jamarcus Russell; QB is a need and he is the best available
*2. Bucs from Lions: Calvin Johnson; we all know the Lions are not afraid to draft a wr so i think they force the bucs to make a trade who should be willing to trade up (bucs 2nd rd pick/5th rd pick/next years 3rd)
    3. Browns: Brady Quinn; have to get a franchise qb sometime
*4. Lions from Bucs: Joe Thomas; the guy i think they want to help the line and they can slide foster to OG
    5. Cardinals: Gaines Adams; best DE available...
*6. Bills from Redskins: Adrian Peterson; Peterson is too good to fall, but someone has to go get him...(bills 2nd rd pick/5th rd pick)...and the redskins need the picks
    7. Vikings: Jamaal Anderson; DE is a need
    8. Falcons: Patrick Willis; tough choice between him and landry, but i think willis is the better choice
    9. Dolphins: LaRon Landry; could go a lot of ways with the pick, but i think landry is the biggest playmaker
    10. Texans: Amobi Okoye; between him and brown he is the bpa
    11. 49ers: Adam Carriker; fits the system, fits the need, fits the spot
*12. Redskins from Bills: Alan Branch...with Branch's stock falling...moving down to get the same guy makes sense
    13. Rams: Jarvis Moss; tough choice here, but the d-line needs youth
    14. Panthers: Ted Ginn Jr.; keyshawn is balking retirement and they need another playmaker...especially someone who can play special teams
    15. Steelers: Leon Hall; best cb is tough to pass on
    16. Packers: Marshawn Lynch; their biggest need falls right into their laps
    17. Jaguars: Reggie Nelson; tough pick...i wouldnt be surprised if they take another wr, but whichever wr they take would be a bust
    18. Bengals: Paul Posluszny; isnt a criminal...yet
    19. Titans: Dwayne Jarrett; VY needs a target
    20. Giants: Levi Brown; falls a bit and cb can be addressed in rd 2
    21. Broncos: Anthony Spencer; the broncos never do what is expected...they probably should trade down and take a safety, but i try to limit the trades
    22. Dallas Cowboys: Darrell Revis, need at corner and value on the board
    23. Chiefs: Dwayne Bowe; huge need at wr
    24. Patriots: Chris Houston; great value and it hurts to make them not pass
*25. Bears from Jets: Greg Olsen; we could take olsen, but i think the saints and bears want him more...we get the bears 3rd and move down to take a corner
    26. Eagles: Michael Griffin; youth in the secondary is nice
    27. Saints: Eric Wright; toss up between ross and wright
    28. Patriots: Jon Beason; a bit more stable than timmons and adds youth to an old group
    29. Ravens: Joe Staley; youth to the o-line
    30. Chargers: Robert Meachem; wr is a big need
*31. Jets from Bears: Aaron Ross; cb is a big need
    32. Colts: Lawrence Timmons; cato june is out and they need someone

Why did we trade our first round picks with the Bears? I really hope it isn't because we traded for Briggs. Also just a suggestion for your future mock drafts, try to do the real draft picks, and not do trades because then it will be much more realistic because some of those trades might not happen.

Yeah, as twinjetfan said... teams dont just swap picks, especially first round picks like that without getting something for it. could you give an explanation as to why except to say that the bears need a TE?

Also, where is Justin Blalock which most draftniks have predicted will drop to us at 25? Could you also offer explanations as to why each pick went to each team? Just for curiosity sake?

    Texas DBs?

I would look real close at the dbs from UT. For all the supposed talent there (Ross,Griffin, and Brown) they ranked 99th in the NCAA at pass defense. I know against Texas Tech they gave up 519yds passing. Somewhere there is a weakness.
They are great athletes but I question their coverage skills.
