I was too young to remember when it all happened, but of course saw the movie as a kid in the early 80s, then followed it. My sister used to live in lindenhurst, so many times I would take a short detour to drive by the house on ocean ave. Still have a tough time understanding why/how someone could do something like that . That might be the only thing that would make me wonder about “paranormal” stuff. Not that I think that’s what was going on. But for someone to be able to do that to their little brother and sister, (not to downplay the parents and older sister). I just don’t get it. Also, how did he shoot into one bedroom, and no one else gets out of bed,
Theres a new show on hln, (or the forensic files channel as I like to call it), called very scary people. Last Sunday’s episode was on butch defeo. 2 hours long. Quite a few things I didn’t know about. Definitely worth checking out. It’s on right now.
