    Per rotoworld:

This could become a serious concern for a lot of teams.

McClain also posted very mediocre 40 times at Alabama's pro day: 4.71 and 4.74

His experience in Saban's 3-4 defense will be very intriguing, but poor workouts and the recent discovery of Crohn's could cause him to fall quite a bit.

    Sad news!

One of my favorites in this draft.

Could be a blessing for the Giants at #15.

    That's awful to hear.

i have a friend with the disease. It just sucks to have.

he'll still be a hell of a football player.

That does suck, still McClain is just to talented to not be picked in the top 20

The crohns disease can be controlled and treated.....but yeah, that sucks for him.

Theoren Fleury was able to play hockey at an elite level despite suffering from crohns as well.....so it's certainly not the end of the world.

If Rolando McClain drops in the draft....some team will be happy with the "steal".

My brother has Crohn's and while it does suck, it really shouldn't affect his draft stock.

It won't affect him as much as the mediocre workouts. I think he'll fall out of the top twelve.

Some Crohn's pts, (most) eventually need surgical resection of the colon....

McClain's at the point with me that he's above poor workouts. I would keep him as a top ten player in this draft no matter what happens, and if he falls any further than that he's a steal.

This is interesting. David Garrard had/has this.

I wonder if this will hurt his value. He has been playing with this since his freshman year so I am on the fence as to whether an NFL team with stray away from him because of it.

    I just don't know.

There are several pro's who play just fine with Chron's. I don;t see it as a huge concern.

3-4 teams will still value him highly. He may not have the sideline to sidlerange for some teams, but his size and instincts are perfect for a 3-4 team. As productive as he was at Alabama I don't see him falling too far.

His game tape is a lot more telling than those work outs. After all in the Jerry hughes thread you reminded me "there just drills". I still have him in the 10-15 range and think may teams will as well.

On the NFL network they talked about this. It came as a surprise to fans they said but a lot of the teams already knew he had the disease and have no problem with it.

    interesting turn of events.

I wonder if this will put McClain back into the top 10.

Gasp, people panicking over a ridiculous report that is apparently very serious and will destroy their NFL career even though it never once affected them on the field of play up until that point in time??? (DEEP BREATH)

RoMac cares not about what people think of his pooping habits, he's a stud.

It never affected his draft stock in the first place. I will be shocked if he makes it past the giants.

When I read the title I thought this was a very recent article...

But IMO he won't get past Denver at 11 and the Giants might/should trade up and get him.
