It's actually wild that you said this and I was pretty against it because I think his legs on this turf would be a disaster, but when you dive into, the Packers prob cut him to save $20m. Would it really shock anyone if that is one of the starting tackles next year along with a rookie? Lol.
Most star players help recruit free agents. Most star players don't have a strange compulsion to brag about it.
It would be fine bringing him in as a swing tackle. If they rely on another guy with three years of injury history to start at tackle we should all be fucking pissed.
It's a miracle Marcedes Lewis isn't on this team already. Can he just bring one player or coach that's actually helpful/not harmful this offseason
A win this weekend so we drop to 10th or so. We take JC Latham or Fuaga. There's your RT. Bakhtiari at LT and there is JD's fix. The writing is on the wall
Not having Uzomah would be better than having Uzomah. He was just hurt this year. After the offseason surgery and coming back end of August 2024, only for 10 mil he will be perfectly ready to start at LT day 1.
I've stayed away from calling him names and piling on the hate, but "I'm good at" this and that is SUCH a narcissistic mile marker that I now believe he may really be one.
Cap space is the best recruiter, and we don’t have much at all. we also have several of our own id like to resign. Huff at top of list on D. On Specials I’d love Morestead, the Leg, and Hardee all back. On O seems whatever resources left have left spent on two starting OTs, Oline depth, QB depth, and a WR starter. Not sure how we do this without mortgaging a lot of future.
Bahktiari is damaged goods That's the problem Rodgers is the oldest guy in the league. We dont want him to recruit his peers anyway. We don't want other busted up 40 year olds like him, Randall Cobb or David Bahktiari - we need young studs
